Research

Our research interests span various topics of inorganic and physical chemistry as well as chemical engineering. Particular focus is on colloidal nanomaterials: robust synthetic approaches, structural characterization, and applications. We are using a combination of X-ray scattering, electron microscopy, optical spectroscopy, and high-temperature characterization techniques to study properties of nanomaterials and to provide an optimized materials for catalytic, thermoelectric, memory, and energy-storage applications.
